Nomsa was referred to Bright Start by the founder of tea bag designs (NGO job creation project) in Hout bay. Nomsa works as a Project Manager, and is a respected member of her community. With two other older children to support, Nomsa’s husband works in the mines outside Johannesburg, where he returns home only twice a year.

Nomsa is a dedicated mother who leaves activities at home in the afternoon for her son to do to improve his academic performance. Avuyile has completed two years at Valley Pre-Primary on a bursary, and needs financial assistance to continue to Kronendal Primary School.
